Well before Zoom even existed, I was teaching online, working with everyone from couples searching for a wedding officiant, to parents seeking an at-home baby naming, and families seeking alternative ways for their child to become a Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Including Adult Bar Mitzvah, Adult Bat Mitzvah from college age students and older. For nearly 16 years as an Ordained Rabbi, I've taught and worked with people from around the world, including the US, Australia, and Monaco.

What makes you unique?

I believe that the Bar/Bat Mitzvah learning experience should be a good one, not a stressful one. I work with only one student at a time in a live online class. In these times where nearly everything is done through a computer, building the Rabbi-student connection is especially important. I aim to help teenagers feel heard and empower them to develop and showcase their newfound leadership skills and maturity so they can shine on their Mitzvah day! We do this by fostering one's own connection to Judaism, understanding that Judaism is around us all of the time, not just on holidays, Shabbat, or Mitzvahs- though those are certainly a bonus!
