The Salem family celebrated daughter Samantha’s Bat Mitzvah during a fun-filled Labor Day weekend. The festivities were held at Indian Head Camp in Equinunk, Pennsylvania. Samantha wanted her Bat Mitzvah to be at her favorite place: sleep-away camp. This celebration was complete with fun foods, non-stop activities, fireworks and a campfire.

This invitation was created by Indian Head Camp and included S’mores! The information led guests to a custom Website with details about the weekend. Samantha’s Sister Claire is a graphic designer and created the logo which was used throughout the party

The custom Website, Samantha’s Camp Bat Mitzvah, was created by Amy Wohl of FabuDesigns. There were easy-to-navigate sections packed full of the important details guests needed to know about a weekend away at camp!
Guests who drove up to camp were given valet service. The camp hosts many events and the family was impressed with their professionalism in planning and executing their celebration weekend. This signage was a great welcome to guests when they drove into the camp grounds
Both Samantha and her Mom Jamie wore gowns from Lyn Kohls. Dad Steve and brother Eli were dressed by Neal Kusnetz, the creator of the Robert Graham brand of men’s clothing. Bat Mitzvah girl Samantha with her parents

Samantha’s outfit began as a gown, but had a hidden romper underneath. After her Havdalah service, she detached the gown and her romper appeared for her party

The festivities began at 12 noon on Saturday with a Welcome BBQ.. Delicious camp food with something for everyone
Beverages were served in a kayak, so clever!

For the adult guests, private cabins were made up with linens and coffee mugs
The decor, created by NYFF, included chic couches, ottomans, and light-up coffee tables. Beautiful linens and pink orchid centerpieces were some of the chic decor details in this rustic setting
The Rec Hall was transformed into a club feel with up-lighting and lounge furniture

A nice spot to lounge around! This seating area included white leather furniture, custom pillows and white draping on the walls

The ice bar, by Indian Head Camp, took 3 weeks to complete!
Welcome gifts for guests on arrival kept with the camp theme and included flashlights with cabin numbers and custom water bottles

Indian Head Camp organized great activities for guests of all ages including Tug-of-War
Guests were able to design their own flip flops. These were used Saturday evening instead of socks so guests could walk to the midnight campfire

Having the Havdalah service on the lake was the perfect setting. Samantha arrived by boat!

After the service, it was party time with the music entertainment provided by Boogie with Bob Entertainment and Deano as the MC. Guests had a blast!
