Really Fun Name Inspired Bat Mitzvah

The Nussbaum family from Scarsdale, New York, celebrated their daughter Rebecca’s Bat Mitzvah on February 27, 2016 with a party in the evening at Willow Ridge Country Club in Harrison, New York.

Rebecca’s party was designed around her fun theme Really Rebecca and the idea really took off!  On the suggestion of Rebecca’s grammy, who passed away a few months before the Bat Mitzvah, the color Tiffany blue was incorporated into the invitation, decor and fashion decisions.  She was the one who suggested the color to complement Rebecca’s beautiful blue eyes.

 Bat Mitzvah Invitation/Service/Special Party Detail

Mom Caroline owns The Perfect Type, an invitation and accessories company. She created this custom invitation with Tiffany blue and silver foil lettering and rhinestones and an ombre envelope. There was a picture of Rebecca done in Warhol style on the back. The edges were done in a foil glitter!

A wonderful personal touch was a basket of cookies and a cookbook created by Rebecca and her Mom Caroline. This was given to guests after the service as a way to remember Rebecca's grammy who loved to cook and bake

The family worked with House of Flowers on the decor. Guests found their table numbers on blinged compacts with removable name/table stickers so the ladies could re-use them after the night!

The logo was a silhouette letter "R" with the words Really Rebecca

The ballroom had a contemporary and fun look with Tiffany blue and silver balloons

Tiffany blue table accents on silver linens gave the room that "WOW" factor!

Really Special Party Branding

Mom Caroline used her branding expertise for the special party touches.  

The acrylic sign-in board with her logo in mirror and glitter looked great

Custom menus at each place setting inclueded the logo on top and was placed at each place setting

Throughout the night, the staff came around with light up trays full of personalized giveaways like "Really Minty" Tic Tacs

"Really Creamy" lip gloss

Little boxes of Hershey kisses with personalized labels on the bottom with "RR," "Really Sweet" and "Really Fun Night"

The custom water bottles read "Really Thirsty"

On the way out, guests grabbed a "StarBec” “Really Hot” coffee cup

Mitzvah Project

Rebecca loves art. She spent a few Saturdays at a library in New Rochelle that hosted art project events for kids from low income families. One afternoon she helped them make homemade holiday gifts.

Advice from Mom Caroline

“Be organized and don’t panic that you’re not doing everything for the event months in advance – much of it happens closer to the date.  Of course book your venue and vendors such as your entertainment company and photographer way in advance.  Next would be the invitations, which I find so often can help guide you for your color scheme and possible theme.  Everything comes together – it always does. Whatever CAN be done in advance should get done, but don’t rush things such as giveaways, favors and games for the kids because things change so quickly these days. You might want the latest ‘this and that’ and would hate to have spent time and money on things early just to be done.”
