Like many Bar Bat Mitzvah parents across the country, Caryn and Jeff Fried had to postpone their daughter Lauryn’s May 2020 Bat Mitzvah until the fall due to COVID-19. As their new October 2020 date was approaching, they decided to go with a virtual service at their local synagogue, followed by a “Mitzvah Motorcade” in front of their house. Lauryn’s theme “Love Yourself First” utilized her initials and love of the color purple.

“Lauryn didn’t want to wait any longer so we decided to move forward with our re-imagined Bat Mitzvah,” mom Caryn tells us. “Through Mitzvah Market we found options for a meaningful way to embrace today’s challenges by introducing us to Xtreme Event Group. Scott and his team worked with us and our temple to make our event so authentic and enjoyable.”
Stephen Andrews Studio provided the photos and the rest of the vendors are listed at the bottom.
