Melisa Imberman of The Event Of A Lifetime, Inc. coordinated a beautiful and fun Bat Mitzvah which incorporated the family’s last name, Topf throughout the party. This celebration, which took place at The Loading Dock in Stamford, Connecticut, certainly had the Bat Mitzvah girl, her friends and family feeling like they were all On Topf of the World for the entire night! There was also a few nods to beloved family dog named, Mazel Topf!
The photographer was Peter Oberc Photography and the rest of the vendor information is listed at the bottom of this story.
Invitation/Tagline and Logo
The family worked with Small Fry Press on the modern invitation. We especially love the way the family conveyed the dress code!
This great logo, incorporating the Bat Mitzvah girl's last name, was used throughout the party
Another logo used Lindsey's first name with the initial "L" and Bat Mitzvah date
Room Decor
Guests entered the venue through a walkway, which had pictures of Lindsey from her photo shoot on one side and her "I'm On Topf of the World" logo on the other
Over-sized photos of Lindsey with her horse at a barn during a snow storm was on display
There was a large white dance floor with the logo. The icicle lights hung over the dance floor giving a dramatic look to the room
There were alternating round and long tables in the adult section. The centerpieces were whimsical arrangements of blue and white flowers with floating candles
Lindsey’s VIP lounge had white leather furniture accented with ice blue and silver logo'd pillows
Bat Mitzvah girl Lindsey was certainly "On Topf of the World!"
Special Party Touches
The place cards had Lindsey's "L" initial and just a touch of ice blue bling
Each place setting had a custom menu with a logo'd napkin wrap
Custom lampshades included the logo and pictures taken from the photo shoot
Special Interactive Entertainment
Because Lindsey’s mom travels to Japan often, the family wanted to introduce the Japanese culture into their celebration. Guests were amazed as a Japanese candy sculptor made hot taffy-like candy into fantastic shapes of animals and other creatures
Lindsey's friends got to take and post lots of photos in her custom Selfie booth. Other fun activities included playing Giant Pac-Man and creating cell phone cases with digital graffiti
Mitzvah Dessert
For dessert, there was NYC's famous 10 Below Ice Cream
First you choose flavors and toppings and then watch
They wow’d everyone with their rolled ice cream creations....YUM!!!
Mitzvah Exit/Favors
As guests were leaving, there was water and hot pretzels. There was also a great picture of the family's dog, Mazel!
As a nod to Mazel (Topf), the pretzel nuggets were shaped like dog bones and dips were served in dog bowls
Signage for the "doggie" bags
Lots of great swag at the end of the evening for Lindsey's guests including: logo'd hats, sweatshirts and drawstring bags
