“Once upon a time… in a land far away… (Dallas, Texas), two sisters wished for a fairy tale Disney themed B’not Mitzvah. Well dreams do come true…thanks to Jennifer Barry Hines owner of Tie A Bow, an event planning firm.
Sisters Alex and Sammy “Wished Upon a Star” and gave their guests an enchanting evening with fabulous decor and party details. These lucky girls definitely had a happily ever after. The party took place at Prestonwood Country Club in Dallas, Texas.
The photographer was Kim Peichel Photography.
Disney Mitzvah Decor
Different shades of purple mixed with silver made the celebration look dreamy
Going for a sophisticated look, they chose silhouettes of Disney characters for the table centerpieces
Adult place cards hung from a tree and were not the poisonous kind!
Tinkerbell floating above the dance floor made the night magical
The DJ staging area was flanked with light up wall panels with photos of the girls from their Disney trip
Sisters Sammy and Alex sitting at the kid's lounge table lit in purple of course!
Disney characters were used for table names
Enchanting Party Details
A touch of Disney magic. Guests blew confetti and danced, and then a super slo-mo video was texted or emailed to them for posting
The family has put on their Mickey ears and is ready to party!
The uplighting changed through the night to set the mood. From purples to pinks
The guest welcome boxes were beautifully wrapped and filled with goodies
“Mirror, mirror on the wall… who’s the fairest of them all?” Both Bat Mitzvah girls Alex and Sammy definitely are
Sister Sammy loved the sign-ins, which now hang in the girls' bedrooms
A Magic Mirror was the ideal photo booth entrance
Fancy eyelashes for guests to glam it up!
Fairy Tale Signage
"Wish Upon A Star" cocktail napkins perfectly captured the theme
A sweet shot during cocktail hour for the adults was far from deadly
There was a famous Disney saying at each place setting
"Be Our Guest" signage for the chocolate fountain and milk shooters. Such a cute idea
Disney Themed Desserts and Favor
Mickey Mouse cookies with the name of the girls on the ears were a delicious way to end the night
Guests also enjoyed delicious Minnie Mouse shortbread cookies
Alex and Sammy's guests took home long sleeve t-shirt favors
