We read about a Hollywood art trend: celeb silhouettes and thought it was Mitzvah-worthy!
Jennifer Lopez and Reese Witherspoon have sat for master scissor artist Karl Johnson from Cutarts.com to have their silhouettes created. We checked him out and love it! Especially one of the ideas written about on his blog.
Although this example was used for a Wedding, you can have a custom silhouette done of your Bar/Bat Mitzvah child to use as the sticker on favors, place cards or even thank you notes. Karl can work by email, just send him a photo of your child and he will send back the art work.
Based in California, Karl is also available to come to your child’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah and create silhouette’s of the guests. He does travel and will be appearing at a Mitzvah in New York next month!
