Kids For Wish Kids gives kids an opportunity to plan a fundraiser that will help sponsor the wish of a local child with a life-threatening medical condition. Since the program started, ambitious kids looking to do a community service have used creative means to give something back to one of their own–the priceless gift of a wish-come-true. Just a few examples include letter campaign, Dance Marathons with friends, Art Shows, Bake Sales, Hat Days and Student/Teacher Basketball games. Whether it is $200 or $2,000, the kids who perform a mitzvah project involved in this program will walk away from the experience feeling empowered that they helped to make a difference. If they like, the kids can learn about the boy or girl whose wish was granted as a result of their efforts.
