Bar Mitzvah boy Gavin loves gaming, specifically vintage games and really wanted this incorporated into his Bar Mitzvah theme. The family was working with Melisa Imberman from The Event Of A Lifetime and she tells Mitzvah Market, “This celebration was originally planned to be under a tent at my clients’ house, but as time went on and the pandemic seemed to be getting more under control, the family decided to switch gears and we had to find a venue.” Although the event was only a few months away, Melisa is always up for a challenge and ultimately booked the Bar Mitzvah to take place at the Larchmont Shore Club. She teamed up with EK Event Group and transformed the space for Gavin’s gaming themed celebration.

The infinity dance floor from EK Event Group looked hi tech, cool and retro at the same time!
Pac-Man decals were added to the dance floor to bring it to the next level
Photo booth with logo'd backdrop in the kids lounge
Centerpieces on the hi top tables featured Gavin's logo
The sign-in was a commissioned original painting of a video game controller in Gavin’s colors with his logo
Melisa worked with
Party Logo Designs to come up with a tech inspired logo that included the Bar Mitzvah boy’s initials. A variety of that logo was used all over the party including on the napkins
Using the logo as inspiration, various signs were created and used throughout the event. "Game On" for the beginning of the party, "Game Over" for the exit treat & giveaways, "Eat Sleep Game Repeat" at the food station & "Drink Sleep Game Repeat" at the bar
Some of the logo'd favors for Gavin's friends
More swag....Logo'd water bottle and cookie in the shape of a video game controller
Vintage video arcade
The candy bar was branded and featured candies in the color of the party
The end of the party featured a Ben & Jerry’s cart so guests could make a sundae! Thank you to Melisa and The Event Of A Lifetime for sharing Gavin’s Bar Mitzvah celebration.
